    • Forward HTTPS error page to MITM download page

I'm just thinking if a user hasn't installed the cert on any of our guest networks, the HTTPS error page could automatically forward to the user to the download page where they can install the cert?

If we have multiple subnets and the smoothie is a the default gateway for each subnet, there would have to be an option to set the address of this page.

        • Adding Time Slots to Access Control Rules

On Services --> BYOD --> Access Control Rules, it would be useful to be able to use Time Slots when creating a rule.

          • Configure SSL login page with user agreement page.

Would love for the SSL Logic to be able to apply a user agreement page so before users can gain access aftyer login they would have to agree to the terms and conditions of internet use. Woud love to add our internet policy to the page.

            • Automatic Session Log out for SSL Login (Could apply to other methods) based on group and times

Currently how SSL login works is based on when you sign into the SSL Login. What would be useful is to be able to define Session end times, based on groups, and if the login time out applies so if you have long session slots, a time out can still apply.

This will give the advantage over a single timeout policy as you can make sure all students get logged out of Mobile device that can be passed about at the end of the session/lesson.

How this would work is have config page where you defined each days Session end…

              • Multiple users on same IP

This isn't an idea, more of a request for help.

We have multiple proxy authentication methods set up, one for example is for our wifi devices which are on an isolated network however the Smoothwall will see these devices as the IP address of the access point.

The authentication proxy is configured as SSL Login with background page, when a user enters their credentials this allows all other users on this access point to browse the internet with their rights rather than being prompted to enter their login.

I have tried with session cookie also as the session ID should…

                  • Mac Mobile Proxy - Enable option to change Defualt Port for client to talk back to the your smoothwall.

Most high level ports could be blocked by default rules in a personal fire wall or router in a personal home. It would be nice to change the default port to a more common port like 80 or 443.

                          planned  ·  Philip Smith responded

Support for Android devices is currently a project in planning. It is a lot harder to achieve under Android due to the lack of an administration mode. However, we hope to bring a product to market mid-year.

                        • IPSec Road worrior to support CISCO clients

Currently the IPSec Road worrior does not support the use of the CISCO IPsec client as it uses diffrent ports.

Request to Add support for the CISCO IPSec client.
