Authentication from Google Apps & Live@Edu
Allow auth to get user and group information from web services like Google Apps

For Chromebooks, when they login to their Google account, Smoothwall is notified of that and assigns them proper permissions. Lightspeed has implemented this to a point with Google's authentication API. Works except each person needs to approve the interaction.

I like the thought of being able to log in to the Smoothwall auth page and then it log them in automatically to Google Apps. At the moment our students need to log in to smoothwall and then google. It would also be really useful if there could be a persistant logout box at the top of the browser so that shared devices can very easily logged off at the end of a lesson.
